AUS home architects R DUMB F**Ks

Why the australian homes have the master bedroom at the FRONT of the house??? Or next to the garage??? I would not want to be woke up because of the traffic outside. I don't want the chance of being seen when I am undressing in my bedroom!

Now, the worst is this: No Drainage for the Toilet Floor! Where will the water go in the event the toilet bowl is over flowing with water??? To the hallway outside???

This is what happen to me at my rented place. It's a sign, after 5 years of renting this shit place. That me & Vin got to move! Everytime it rains whole day, I get the fear of what will happen. Will the hall be flooded? Will the toilet bowl be overflowing? Will the shower drainage be block? Bah, why the unnecessary stress???

Vin was talking about getting a new car this morning. The new Mercedes C Class. I think, we should put that thought on hold till we move out from this place!

PS: Forgot to mention the kitchen. It has to be in the centre of the house, doesn't it?

Gucci Positano at $69!

I need a new ladies handbag recently, as I poured a full glass of latte onto my white handbag last week. It's a great excuse to start looking for a new one!

Was going through image after image on the net for a new handbag and came across this seller 'iseeu007' from www.oztion.com.au and he/she sells counterfeit branded handbags at $40-$60 each (if you buy in bulk!).

I have my eyes on Gucci Positano since it first launch, love the scarf on the bag, make it so classy and stylish.

Anyway, is this alrite to sell counterfeit bags in the net and not having caught? eBay Australia is very strict on selling fake goods and they will remove the listing. What about this oztion? This seller have 800 items listed for sale!

Let me round up my girlfriends (12 for $499, $42 for each fake bag) and we'll have different bags to use every day of the week!

Netguide, don't waste ur $$$

I'm into tech these days, AND the olympics as who can avoid them? But I'll talk about the olympics the next time.

I was over my 25GB/month in July, so I was without internet for a week (till my renewal date). Recent because of downloading a huge collection of podcast and movies for the iPhone. So a week without internet, I went and bought the September Issue of Netguide. I am not a huge fan of this mag because of the ads and the full section devoted to genealogy. But the cover of the mag caught my eyes with the line "Where to find music on the Net for your MP3 - legally"

I was thinking to myself, this is great as I have a need to get more songs for my iPhone and N95. I quickly turn to the page and here is what it tells me, "Buy it, u freaking cheapskate!"

So, moral of the story is, I have wasted $6 on a mag that tells me to spend more. Thanks, but no thanks. The mag can stick to the wall across my room for eternity!

iPhone CLUB >.<

Vin got his white iPhone. Then my mum-in-law went and get a black iPhone. Then my brother-in-law also went and get an iPhone. The whole freaking family is turning to be iFamily!!!

iPhone is really great for users who are new to smartphones. It is really easy to use, compare to Blackberry, PDAs, O2, etc. A finger tap here and there to get what you really want. When the saying goes "the world at your fingertips" it really applys to iPhone. Also it does not allow running applications at the background so pressing the home button is Vin's favourite button for everything (to start over what he wants with the iPhone).

Now, the bad points of iPhone (check out www.apcmag.com as I reckon they are iPhone haters because they prefer Blackberry and Nokia):

  • Jerky camera. No mode settings, no zooming, no flash, no video recording. Can't beat my Nokia N95 8GB, which have excellent night mode!!!
  • iTunes is a mess! Warning: Do not simply sync your iPhone with another pc's iTunes as you will lose all info! You can put songs INTO iPhone, but you can't get the songs OUT of iPhone, to share.
  • No doodling on the notepad, like those PDA/Smartphones. I miss my drawings!
  • Can't use nails on the touchscreen, as no heat censor. Now, I got to keep my nails short?!?! Lot's of demands to use a phone.
  • Request to use either Wi-fi internet and 3G is not available, like my Nokia N95. So it is kinda dangerous, as I am not sure the data I am receiving on the iPhone is using my telco data or from my home WLAN???

Overall, it is still a great phone. For great data plans (users who surf the internet heavily on their phone) go for Virgin Mobile. For lowest phone repayments, go for Optus (get the rollover benefit as it can shorten your contract). I heard '3' is offerring $300 rebate if you bring your iPhone to take up their plan. But then, I don't have any friends on '3', so if I do sign up with them, who do I call for those free unlimited calls to 3 customers???
